Temper, Temper

Ever wonder what happens when you say "No" to a strong-willed toddler?

If the pictures didn't say it all, then the video will:

In case you're wondering...

  • Yes, she does this often.

  • No, she wasn't sick or tired or anything -- just a typical afternoon.

  • And yes, I'm afraid she gets her behavior from her Mama.

  2. Oh, gosh Lauri, that is hilarious! Harry and I were watching it together, and I kept saying, "She has to be tired! Look how tired she looks!" Then...I read your disclaimer at the end. :-) OK....so maybe she can't use tired as an excuse. We've all been there, but it's always funny when it's someone else's little angel pitching the fits!

  3. All I can say is that you're not alone. Let me say it again so that you get an extra dose of encouragement - YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE. We've got fits happening in this house, too. I'm about to begin reading Shepherding a Child's Heart to see if I can gain any wisdom in this department. So frustrating...

  4. I have to admit, I saw Little Man stomp his little feet like nobody's business and let out a pretty good little noise. It's cute to a grandmother while watching from afar... but, I am sure it would be frustrating on a daily basis. That is one of the perks of being one generation removed. I'm with MeMe! LOL! Good luck to all you young women!

  5. That's awesome!!! I am just sad that I didn't get to see it in person when you were visiting. It's actually nice to see that we are not the only ones that deal with temper tantrums. It's nice to know that you are not alone. I could handle it pretty well before but now that I have Ryan too Jackson is giving me a run for my money!
