Bumbo and Tummy Time

Here are two videos of Kaitlynn you might enjoy. (I am including the links on YouTube because when I upload a video on this site it just never looks right.)

The first one is Kaitlynn in her Bumbo chair (thanks Makenna and Madison for letting us borrow it!) She's still a little young to be comfortable in it since she needs to gain some head/neck control. But I've been putting her in it a few times a day just to get her used to it. The funny thing is, by the time she is strong enough she'll probably be too big to fit in it! It's made for skinny babies I guess. I bought one for Connor when he was 3 months old and had to take it back to the store because his chunky thighs wouldn't fit! One note about this video...listen closely around the 1 minute 44 second mark. Kaitlynn makes a very unladylike noise and then smiles really big about it!

The second video is probably a little boring for most but it cracks me up. Jeff has been trying to put Kaitlynn on her tummy and she absolutely HATES it! She screams and cries so loudly as if we are torturing her. And the scowl on her face at the end says it all.

  1. Oh, girl. That video of tummy time looked just like Alex's tummy time. It's not a happy two or three minutes! You really would think we were just torturing them! Kaitlynn did so well in her bumbo seat - I am impressed with her head control already! Her smiles were precious - especially after she tooted. She's probably not going to like you for that very much when she's a little older and her friends find that video online! =)
