Back when we started the pool and patio construction at the end of February, my goal was to have everything completed by the 1st of May so that Connor could use the new backyard for a birthday celebration with his friends. As it turns out, we would end up hitting our timeline with ease but unfortunately there would be no birthday gathering for Connor. Thank you, Covid-19! *insert eyeroll*
Oh well, we were still excited as we approached the final phase of the backyard project. Seeing the concrete go in, the outdoor kitchen, and then the decking material made such a huge transformation.
The next and last step would be the interior plaster coating of the pool, immediately followed by WATER! We were ready and not-so-patiently waiting!
