Visit with Nana and Papa

Last week we had some extra special visitors with us. Jeff's Mom (Nana) and his stepdad (Papa) flew into Houston from California for a visit with us and the kids. Dave and I bonded over chocolate while Kaitlynn fed Nana exorbitant amounts of play-food. I think my favorite part of their visit was seeing how much Connor and Kaitlynn enjoyed spending time with them, despite not seeing them since last Thanksgiving. They immediately warmed to Nana and Papa and were so sad to see them return home. It was such a fun time and we all loved soaking in time with such special grandparents. Here are a few pictures from their visit.

The highlight of Nana and Papa's visit for Connor: a visit during his lunch period.

Here's a picture of Mom and Dad with Connor. He was so excited to have McDonalds chicken nuggets for lunch.

Here's Kaitlynn playing with her "yo" while sitting in Connor's rocking chair, a gift from Nana and Papa when he turned 2.

Nana and Kaitlynn watch some "Olivia" on TV.

Papa and Kaitlynn read a book.

Papa enjoyed teasing Connor during the Texans vs. Saints football game. Those Saints signs were torturous for Connor!

Jeff and his Mama.

  5. Such sweet times...babies with their Nanas and Papas. How funny that Papa teased Connor about the football game. Sounds like he really knows how to stir the pot around there! =)
