Over the summer, Connor's baseball tournaments with the Jays gave the team great opportunities to play at some incredible venues. By far, Connor's favorite experience was their game played at Olson Field at Blue Bell Park on the Texas A&M University campus, and he was thrilled to have gotten a great hit and scored during his time on the field. What an amazing opportunity for these athletes!
Another venue that the Jays really enjoyed was Sam Houston State University. Connor pitched a good game and continued to enjoy the great experience of playing on such professional fields with his teammates. And it continues to amaze me that I have a kid big enough and old enough to play at this caliber of tournaments, wow!
When they played at Houston Baptist University, Connor had a great game and was super pumped when he had a base hit to propel his team to the win. The team photographer had some awesome shots of him celebrating at first base. I sure missed seeing the games in person but was so thankful that Connor had these awesome game opportunities!
