While Kaitlynn was finishing up her long week of UCA cheer camp, Jeff was off enjoying a much-deserved guys' weekend with his buddy, Bob. They were off to Colorado for a fun trip and lots of misadventures, ha!
First up was a stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre to enjoy a concert, but not before the tough climb to the park entrance - NOT for the faint of heart!
Later on their trip, they rented mountain bikes for an outing they wouldn't soon forget. After getting lost in a neighborhood, barely making it up the mountain trails, getting perilously close to running out of water, getting a flat front tire and falling head over handlebars after hitting a rock... well, let's just say it was a scary adventure that Jeff needed a few days to recover from before telling me all about it, ha!
The last stop of their wild weekend was a visit to Winter Park in hopes of an epic prank on Jeff's other buddy, Bob. Their intent? Sneak up to Bob's winter home and give him a farewell from afar via his home security cameras. Unfortunately, their plan went awry when the cameras didn't capture the full view showing the smiling Jeff and Bob waving hello before taking off. What followed was a property check by the local police and an angry voicemail by Bob the homeowner. Prank fail! Ha!
