A couple of weeks ago, Jeff was outside with the kids playing with sidewalk chalk. The next morning when I went to leave, I was greeted with these messages on the driveway:

The further behind I fall, the more I admire how diligent you've always been about your blogging. I remember how crazy things were for you when Kaitlynn was an infant, but you always managed to give us updates. I just can't seem to keep up. If I have time to read, I don't have time to comment. If I have time to comment, I don't have time to write. I'm getting so far behind that I'm overwhelmed at where to pick up again.
I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to seeing you next month. I can already tell that a few hours together isn't going to be enough to get my fill. Thank goodness for next summer!
