Connor's freshman season of Katy Tiger basketball came to a close in late January. It was a fun but challenging season for him as he learned the ins and outs of high school ball. Jeff and I never grew tired of watching our boy on the court and were so proud of his growth as the season progressed.
One of the things we loved the most about the entire experience with the basketball program was the coaching staff and their commitment to player development. Their encouraging coaching style and focus on skill-building truly resonated with Connor. He also really enjoyed his time with the team while learning a ton about the game. He improved a lot, made some good friends, and set his sights on how he wants to grow as a player in the future. While he may have the perfect build for basketball (long and lean!), he still has a lot of work ahead to improve his presence and skill on the court.
We are beyond proud of our #21 for working so hard throughout the season, and we can't wait to see what his future holds both on and off the court.
