Friendly Faces

For our first full day back in Texas, I was thrilled to be able to arrange some time for the kids to hang out with their friends. I was worried how they would adjust to the significant time difference but they were so happy to hang out that it didn't phase them at all.

Jeff reached out to Connor's former select baseball team, the Katy Falcons, because he was hoping we could go see the boys play again. Not only did we get to see the team, but Connor was invited to play for a game and ended up being their catcher for the entire game. It  warmed my heart so much to see such friendly faces that we had dearly missed and to see Connor back with his buddies again. It felt like we were right back at home, as if no time had passed.
