Collin and Kevin's Last Days in Dubai

Before Collin and Kevin returned to the States, we made sure to hit more hotspots in Dubai while Connor and Kaitlynn were back in school after spring break.

Of course, the main attraction for Collin and Kevin was the Burj Khalifa. I sent them up on the same tour that I had done with Jeff and the kids last year. They really enjoyed it, and then I had to snap their photo outside. These photos never get old to me!

After seeing the Burj Khalifa, the boys and I walked around Dubai Mall and had some lunch at one of the food courts there. Then we went to pick up the kids at school, so Collin and Kevin were able to see the campus at dismissal.

On one of our other days after school, Connor had his weekly basketball practice at Al Barsha park. The boys came with us and got to enjoy the family bikes that we love so much. Afterwards, we had to stop for gas, and Collin discovered one of his all-time favorite candies at the local Zoom gas station. The original Kinder eggs - he bought an entire tray, ha!

A couple of other random photos...Collin enjoyed the kids' plasma cars almost as much as they do. And the boys made sure to partake in a few "shotguns" here and there.

On their last night with us in Dubai, we went to the Souk Madinat Jumeirah mall, which is a really neat shopping center with restaurants and shops on waterways very close to the Burj Al Arab. I didn't manage to get any photos until after dinner when we walked over to see the Burj Al Arab up close. So beautiful at night!

The boys left the next morning after an incredible two weeks packed full of fun during their visit. We enjoyed our adventures together so much and can't wait until the next time we're all together again.
