Jeep Adventure Days

As a registered Jeep owner here in Dubai, Jeff is on a mailing list and receives notifications of upcoming events. Recently Jeep hosted an event for owners at Dubai Festival City called Jeep Adventure Days, where they set up off road driving experiences for Jeep drivers. Jeff received an email about it and we were excited to show up and see what it was all about.

Pulling up to the Jeep course was so exciting! There were hills, rocks, mud pits, and all kinds of fun adventures planned for the drivers. There were two separate courses set up: one for regular Jeeps and another one for Jeeps that had been modified. Jeff's Jeep a.k.a. RJ (for Red Jeep, ha!) has been modified quite a bit and he was the first driver to enter the modified course. He had no idea what to expect but invited Connor to ride shotgun while he drove the course.

I was a nervous wreck! I am the stick-in-the-mud Mom who is no fun because this kind of stuff gives me heart palpitations. I have no idea why I love to ride thrilling roller coasters but yet I can't enjoy off-roading in a Jeep with my husband! At least he had the kids there to partake in the fun with RJ and I was happy to stay on the sidelines and take photos.

Jeff and the kids had an absolute BLAST with RJ on the course! It was a bit scary at times for them, especially on the one big hill. Jeff said he couldn't see at all where he was going when he got to the top. The kids took videos while riding shotgun and they were shrieking with delight while climbing and bumping through the course. Jeff was like a kid again smiling so big and laughing from all the fun.

Jeep did a great job with the event. They even had bouncy houses and food trucks for the spectators. No doubt we will be back again for Jeff to play with his toy RJ!

By the end of the day, it was time for a big-time car wash!!
