We pack the car with all kinds of activities and distractions, but we still struggle with the long hours on the road.
Personal DVD players don't help.
Blankies certainly don't help.
It's a miserable existence, commuting.
Our favorite iPad game, Temple Run, doesn't entertain us for long.
Not even snacks can keep us awake.
We are just tired... SO tired of commuting!
Oh girl-- I can only imagine the amount of hours you guys are spending on the road and how hard that is on you and the kids. I've been thinking about you all a lot over these last few months and I am praying that the end will be coming soon. I know you must be so anxious to get settled and be in your new home and be closer to everything. Hang in there sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteGirl. I am so tired just thinking of you commuting all those long hours on the road. The end of the school year wouldn't even be able to come fast enough for me. Hopefully you all will be able to rest and recharge come summer. Now, if only it would get here soon... Love and miss you, friend.
