A Fun Visit

Last month we were blessed to have a visit from Jeff's oldest friend, Bob, from Cincinnati. Bob and his wife Denise came for a visit and also to attend the Houston Texans vs. Cincinnati Bengals game here in town. It was such a nice trip for all of us! (But we don't have to talk about that game!)

Bob and Jeff had a great time catching up, and although they didn't participate in their usual Olympic competition, they still managed to wreak some havoc on the neighborhood sidewalks when their biking went a little awry. ;-)

The kids really enjoyed Bob and Denise's visit, too, because they were such good sports to play whatever games and activities were requested. We think Bob secretly wants his own doll collection. How else to explain his natural talent at playing with them? Ha!

Despite the poor performance of our team, Jeff had a great time at the game with Bob and Denise. It was a gorgeous November day with lots of sun, and the stadium roof was open for the first time in months/years (decades?)!
