Nana's First Visit and Your Baptism

When you were 7 weeks old, we had some very special visitors all the way from California. Your Nana and Grandpa Dave flew to Houston to meet you and spend time with us. Nana was so excited to finally get her hands on you!

During their visit, we arranged to visit your Dad at his work (BMC Software) during lunch one day. Nana enjoyed seeing where he worked and we all ate lunch at the onsite cafeteria.

We also scheduled another very special event during their visit: your baptism. You were baptized at St. Timothy Lutheran church on Sunday, June 26. MeMe and Grand Daddy came for the special occasion, too, but somehow we didn't manage to get any pictures of all of us. Very unlike me!

6 Weeks

At 6 weeks old, you were becoming SO plump and chubby! Those cheeks looked like they weighed a ton but you were oh so precious! You also were such a good sleeper and usually had your arms up around your head, which was just so adorable to me!

One of the baby gifts we received for you from a colleague of mine at work was this super soft sheepskin. She informed me that babies in Australia travel with these and sleep on them everywhere they go. I would often put you on the sheepskin for a nap and you always looked so comfy! That is, until you figured out how to roll off and "wander" away, ha!
