This is completely unrelated to summertime play dates, but the first week of our 2017 summer also saw us replacing our LONG time refrigerator. It had seen us through 3 different houses and growing from a family of 4 to a family of 6. It was a big deal to replace the old fridge and I ended up LOVING the new one. Too bad I didn't get to keep it for very long... (Yes, that may be a bit of foreshadowing.)
