Kaitlynn's 2nd Grade Celebration of Learning

Before we knew it, the end of Kaitlynn's 2nd grade year was upon us. At the end of May, Kaitlynn's class participated in the annual Celebration of Learning as a way for the teachers and parents to honor the students. Each student prepared a short presentation on what they wanted to do/be when they grew up. Kaitlynn, after having quite the first season of softball, wrote and spoke about growing up to be a softball player! Her coaches (and her Mommy) were proud and impressed!

Due to the "looping" method of keeping teachers with the same group of students for 2 years, Kaitlynn had spent both 1st and 2nd grade with her beloved teachers, Mrs. Hebert and Mrs. Ohmart. The bonds formed between all of us were so strong, and it was an emotional day saying goodbye for students, teachers, and parents alike!

Kaitlynn was so blessed to have such AMAZING teachers for two straight years, not to mention the strong friendships she formed with her classmates. So thankful for our WoodCreek Elementary community!
