Halloween

Our family doesn't normally have a lot going on for Halloween, but this year we managed to fit in several Halloween-themed activities across the family. Connor spent his Halloween volunteering at a local elementary school trunk-or-treat with a couple of friends, a part of the many service hours he was dedicating throughout his senior year.

Jeff spent the holiday in Dubai working, but I was able to join our great friends Tom and Jen for their annual Halloween party. Their over-the-top decorations never cease to amaze me - so cool!

Kaitlynn is not quite ready to give up the trick-or-treating fun, so she joined our neighbor Maddie as a ghost to roam the neighborhood collecting candy.

Kaitlynn and I were also able to attend a fun Halloween party with her Nighthawks cheer team. They packed in the fun with a pumpkin decorating contest, and I couldn't believe the creations that the girls (and Moms) came up with. Out of this world!
