In early September, I was so excited for our annual fall girls' trip with my high school besties! This year, we decided to visit Fredericksburg in central Texas, and even though we hardly ever post on social media, we found a super cute Airbnb that was worthy of all the Instagram selfies! Ha!
Every year during our girls trips, we always arrive with a long list of topics to catch up on. Despite the long weekends together, it never seems to be enough time to cover everything but we sure try! We enjoyed long walks around the neighborhood before setting off for our daily activities. On our first day, we had massages booked at a local spa followed by a beautiful lunch. Then we headed into town for some shopping in all the cute stores. It was such a relaxing and fun day!
On our second day, we drove out to Enchanted Rock for a short hike. Though short, it packed a punch (for me!) with the steep climb. I was slow but I made it to the top, ha! Note to self: need to get in shape!!
After our hike, we went back into Fredericksburg for some shopping and sight-seeing. We loved all the little shops around town - such a cute spot!
On our last night in the area, we had dinner reservations at a really nice spot with beautiful scenery and amazing food. Our waiter was quite the character and we made sure he took some photos for us in the lovely upstairs setting. Dinner was delicious and the perfect way to wrap up our super fun girls weekend together. Until next time!
