Our favorite activity in Florida was something that we had done during our last visit: touring the Mount Dora Canal and riding on the CraigCat boats. We were excited to try the boats again, this time with Justin, Christina, and Cash as well. It was a blast and such an awesome afternoon together as a family!
The coolest part of our trip to The Villages this year was our accommodations. Since Justin and Christina were temporarily living with Cheryl and Jerry, there wasn't a lot of extra room in their home for us to stay. Instead, they set us up in their beautiful motor home at a local RV park. It was our first experience staying in an RV and it was a really neat experience. We were a few steps away from the restroom facilities, where we got ready in the mornings and showered at night. The RV was super spacious and had all of the amenities we needed, although we didn't spend much time there except at night. The only thing I struggled with was my equilibrium - anytime someone turned over in bed or walked across the room, there was a rocking motion that ended up sticking with me for days, ha! It was an unexpected adventure and we really enjoyed it.
Our family visit in Florida was such a fun and special week. We loved reconnecting with family and making so many new memories. Until next time!

Hanging with Family in Florida
After we wrapped up our Morgan Family vacation in Gulf Shores, we continued driving East towards Florida for more family fun, this time with the Courtright side of the family. But first, we noticed that Kaitlynn had developed a bad cough so we made a quick stop to a clinic for a check-up. I couldn't help but snap a photo of Jeff and the kids cuddling in the waiting room. I was wondering to myself how much longer these days would last??
Once Kaitlynn was given the all-clear, we were able to head over to Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Jerry's house for a long-awaited reunion. The kids, of course, were super excited to reunited with everyone, including the dogs Moose and Tango. They were also delighted to meet Uncle Justin's precious new puppy, Nola.
We had the BEST week during our visit with family, including nightly s'mores treats and lots of play time with cousin Cash.
One of the kids' favorite activities was our daily visit to the local dog park to let the dogs play. Connor and Kaitlynn are naturals with the pets.
As with our prior trips to The Villages, we all enjoyed our usual activities of girls' spa day and guys' fishing trip. So much fun!

Boating in Orange Beach
During our trip to Gulf Shores this summer, we added a new activity for the first time that was an instant hit with our entire group. We rented a pontoon boat with an upper deck and slide, and we cruised around the bay in Orange Beach for an entire afternoon. After years of watching the boaters in the bay enjoy themselves, we finally got to join them and see what the fuss was all about. The boat ride, exploration of the bay island, and jumping off the upper deck kept us busy all afternoon. It turned out to be the favorite day for everyone - so much fun in the sun!
