You Win!

As Kaitlynn's sophomore year in high school was winding down, she had achieved a successful and outstanding academic performance alongside her super busy year of all-star cheer. We were so proud of this girl, and as per tradition, it was time to honor her with another round of our family "You Win!" game. It felt a bit odd that we were only celebrating one kiddo this time, but we were excited for Connor to join us in our family evening of fun. First up, the restaurant round with Kaitlynn's choice of pizza dinner. She chose CiCi's Pizza (blech)!

For the next found, it was Kaitlynn's choice between fun games at Andretti Racing versus Activate. We arrived at Andretti and Kaitlynn was suddenly overwhelmed and not feeling up for celebration, so we headed home for a little break. Thankfully she recovered quickly and we went back to Andretti and signed up for a round of go-kart racing. It was a blast!

Probably the most fun of the night involved the video games and arcade machines. We had a blast using our tokens are earning some cool prizes. The most popular games were the basketball hoops and the pitching game - Connor nearly ripped his arm off trying to best his own velocity, ha! Of course, Jeff never takes on anything lightly and was his usual intense self as he rotated through the various games. We laughed so hard at his captured photos on the machines!

For Kaitlynn's third choice, it was a tossup between Freddy's food and custard versus Jeremiah's frozen ice. She chose Freddy's which is always a family favorite. Can't beat those fries and that delicious custard!

On the drive home, it was the 4th and final round: cash or gift? Well, this year, the surprise was that she would receive BOTH! I had wrapped her up a few fun clothing items from LuluLemon and Alo, and we gave her some spending money as well. She was a happy girl, and we were proud parents happy to celebrate another year of incredible academic accomplishments! On to Junior Year!
