September turned out to be a month of amazing girl time for me, because no sooner had I returned from visiting my colleagues and friends at work in Dallas, but I then set off for Waco for a long-anticipated girls weekend with my favorite girls in the world, my high school besties! We try to arrange a visit once per year, and for this trip we rented a cute little Waco farmhouse in the middle of town. It was precious! We loved the accommodations, and we were excited to explore what Waco had to offer as we caught up on life from the past year. Of course, we had to check out the Magnolia area in hopes of spotting Chip and Jo, and we loved visiting all the cute shops, eateries, and bookstores during our stay. We enjoyed some wonderful food and even better conversation as we tooled around Waco and took in the sights with the beautiful weather. So fun and just what
Of course, no girls trip would be complete without countless photos to document our together-time. We always spend HOURS hunting down the right photo opportunities and staging the pics just right so we can capture our annual weekend visit. It is quite the feat to find a single photo where we all like the way we look, ha! And it's crazy to realize that we've been friends for over 30 years now! What a blessing to have these amazing girls in my life, and I'm already counting down the days until our next trip together!
