With summer underway, the kids were really enjoying their downtime. We didn't have much planned for the weeks ahead but were happy to soak in the low-key fun. Here is a collection of random activities in the first few weeks of our summer.
First up, Kaitlynn enjoyed some summer fashion thanks to one of her birthday gifts and the new collection of competition cheer gear.
Before long, Father's Day was here and we were thankful to have all 6 of our crew together. Of course, our "low-key" schedule was still quite hectic, so all we could manage for Father's Day was a couple of front porch pics to honor Jeff's day.
Summer also meant the usual fun with Kaitlynn's wonderful neighborhood friends. They love hanging out at home outside, but it's even more fun for the gang when they can get out and enjoy other summer activities.
One activity that wasn't quite on our radar in the beginning of the summer was Connor's first official shave. He decided it was time to take the step when his cousins lovingly referred to his upper lip as a "trash stash" ha! Jeff and I gave Connor a quick lesson and then he was ready. Our boy keeps growing up, sniff sniff!
