Dubai Friends Reunited

In mid-June, Connor and Kaitlynn were able to reunite with their long-separated friends from Dubai, Noah and Abigail. We also were able to spend a little time catching up with their brother Jacob and mom Nanette when they made a special trip to visit us this summer in between visits with family and other friends. It had been 2 long years since we'd seen each other, and needless to say, there were some shocked faces to see how we had all grown and changed (mostly Connor - who had grown about 6-8 inches since we left Dubai!)

It was so nice to catch up with the Essick family. The kids fell back into their groove and really enjoyed the time hanging out together. They enjoyed some food favorites like Chick-fil-A, and Noah was even able to spend an extra day with us and join Connor at some of his summer basketball games.

We were so thankful for the Essicks to take time out of their crazy summer schedule to allow these kids some time together. They are already counting on the next opportunity to see each other!
