Kaitlynn crawled her way into the "toy room" (as Connor calls it), which is our dining room converted into a computer/play room.
Then Connor and Kaitlynn happily played in there together for a while.
It was the first time I've seen them actually playing together, and it was such a fun thing to witness.
It made me imagine all the wonderful days ahead that these two will entertain themselves and enjoy each other's company.
It sure fills this Mommy's heart with joy!
Not only will it be fun for them, but for mom, too - to have a little "break" while they play together. I love that they have their own playroom. That's fantastic - definitely something I want to look for in our next home.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note - I LOVE the bow K is wearing. She's graduated to the hair bows with clips. Baby girl is growing up.
You are so right, it is so fun seeing them play together for one of the first times. And it is a glimpse into the future for sure of many more play dates between the 2 of them. It is so nice to have a built in play mate for the second one, isn't it. So different from the first where their only play mate was Mommy! Connor sure has slimmed down even more since I've last seen pictures of him. And Kaitlynn looks so big sitting there amongst all those toys, enjoying herself. Exciting times ahead for you! :)
