Today was Connor's Easter party at school. His class met at a local park and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful! The plan for the day: play, hunt Easter eggs, eat lunch, and play some more. We had so much fun, although Kaitlynn missed her nap and was Miss Grumpy Pants all morning!
Here's Connor enjoying the playground.
Time for the Easter egg hunt. All the kids lined up for the instructions. They were only supposed to get 12 eggs each. (Connor's in the orange shirt.)
And they're off! Connor was the first one to get all twelve of his eggs, calling out "One...Two...Three..." as he picked up each egg.
Afterwards Connor said to me, "Mom, why could we only get 12 eggs? I really wanted thirty-three."
Here's his class after the egg hunt. So cute!

Looks like so much fun. jackson missed his first Easter egg hunt last weekend when he was sick. Then they postponed the one at school until Monday because so many kids have been out sick. So, Sunday will be his first hunt with the cousins. I can't wait to watch him hunt for eggs. Looks like Connor had fun and way to go being the first to get 12!!!
ReplyDelete33 eggs, huh? I bet he could have gotten them, too. He wasn't playing around when it came to getting his 12 - off and running to get his basket full!
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys had great weather and a wonderful celebration!
I think that Connor was spoiled by getting a basketful of eggs last Sunday! MeMe
ReplyDeleteOh what a fun idea for his class. Aren't you glad you are at home now where you can do this kind of stuff with him! I love that he had so much fun hunting his 12 eggs and was a little puzzled by the limit. So cute! Happy Easter to you guys!
