As Kaitlynn's 13th birthday approached, she decided she wanted to celebrate with a few close friends from her cheer group at school. With very little notice, we picked a date on the week before her birthday and began planning a few fun things that Kaitlynn and her friends could enjoy to recognize Kaitlynn's special day. With a few trips to the store for balloons, candy, and a zebra-striped birthday cookie cake, we were able to throw together a last minute but super fun evening for Kaitlynn's birthday. The hit of the party was a tie between the make-your-own personalized candy bowls and the cookie cake that was more icing than cookie. It was so fun to see their eyes light up at all the sugar, ha!
It was the perfect summer night to enjoy some fun in the pool followed by Kaitlynn's favorite Russo's pizza. They were being silly and cracking each other up the entire time! And no one had to twist her arm when they suggested she open all her gifts together. She has such a sweet and genuine group of friends and Kaitlynn felt celebrated all night long!
