Before embarking on the back-to-school craziness, Kaitlynn enjoyed a last week of summer fun at Great Adventure Camp (GAC). It was her 3rd year to attend GAC and she was excited to spend the time away with good friends and fun camp activities like lake time, swimming, and countless lawn games. The parents stalked the camp website to catch glimpses of our girls as they had a full week away together, and we loved seeing the smiles come across our computer screen. At the end of the week, we were beyond ready to see our girl. Despite the great fun had by all, Kaitlynn walked away from camp knowing that she had attended her last week and was ready for new and different adventures in her summers to come. It was a bittersweet reminder that she is growing older and more mature, taking steps to leave her youth behind. Sniff sniff!
