Back to School

Before we knew it, summer was over and it was already time for school to start again. This year, Kaitlynn was entering her sophomore year in high school. After last year of riding with Connor to school everyday, I was officially being demoted back to driver to get her to and from school daily, ha! I didn't mind at all and really looked forward to our morning and afternoon chats. She sure was growing up too fast; so hard to believe she was already in 10th grade!

As for Connor, he enjoyed his 3-day freshman orientation at Camp 1831, and he ended up meeting several guys that became fast friends at school. One of the neatest traditions for freshmen at Alabama is to run onto the football field and participate in the "Script A" which is the Alabama logo. All the freshmen are given white tees and the upperclassman wear the crimson tees as the outline. The photos turned out amazing! Connor was also enjoying getting to know his roommate and suitemates, and one of their moms was nice enough to send a photo after everyone was all moved in.

When school was finally back in session, I begged Connor for a back-to-school photo and he was gracious enough to send these to me. Jeff and I were so excited to hear his thoughts on his schedule and first semester of college. Or should I say, 13th grade!
