8th grade was the year of "everything" for Kaitlynn, as she really put herself out there trying multiple new activities and sports. When it was time for track season, Kaitlynn decided "why not?!" and tried out for several of the events including Long Jump and Triple Jump. This was completely foreign to all of us, but she did a great job and earned a spot in the competition for each track meet throughout the season. While she didn't place at the events, it was fun for us to see her try something new in her last year of junior high.
