We were all enjoying our extended holiday break during the lazy days after the Christmas holiday. Kaitlynn took advantage of some extra practices with her basketball team, followed by some lunch at one her favorite spots - Chick-fil-A.
On another occasion, our awesome neighbors took several of the kiddos into Houston for a nice lunch at Cheesecake Factory followed by ice skating at the nearby mall. They had such a nice day together and really tested their balance on the rink, ha!
Funny enough, Connor and his girlfriend Marie ended up visiting the same ice skating rink on another day during winter break for a fun date together. I hung around the mall while they spent time together, and I couldn't resist sneaking over to take a quick pic of them. Cute couple!!
Connor and one of his basketball team buddies, Daniel, also managed to enjoy some time together over the break. Daniel had recently gotten his driver's license and had been taking Connor to practice and other outings on a few occasions. This was definitely a new phase for us!
