Boys at the Beach

Our Spring Break kicked off in the beginning of March, and for the first time in years, we didn't have any solid plans. We had hoped to go to Colorado for some snow skiing, but we decided instead to book a family trip for the beginning of the summer. As Spring Break approached, Connor received a fun invitation from his childhood buddy Parker to join his family on their Spring Break family vacation to Gulf Shores. He was so excited! I was impressed with Parker's family for their willingness to add a teenager to their family of 6, ha!

As Parker's family made the drive towards AL, Connor shared stories with his hosts about how we've spent many summers in Gulf Shores at our favorite resort, Caribe. Imagine his surprise when he found out that, lo and behold, they were actually headed to Caribe for their trip as well. So fun! Connor became the designated tour guide for the family, and they all had an incredible week of fun at the resort and beach. Parker's mom sent me a few photos and updates from their 6-day adventure, and I was so happy for Connor to have had such an awesome Spring Break getaway.
