4th Grade School Days

As the beginning of Kaitlynn's 4th grade year was well underway, I was really happy to see that Kaitlynn's teacher was often sharing photos of their classroom activities. These kiddos are always busy and Kaitlynn seemed to be enjoying her school year so far. I love seeing how she is always actively engaged in her learning.

A brand new development for Kaitlynn in her 4th grade year has been that she has recently found a book series that she seems to love. For years, Kaitlynn has had NO interest in reading on her own and found very little enjoyment in it at all. When she began reading Land of Stories this fall, suddenly every time I looked up she was reading! She is now well into the 3rd book of the series (in only a couple of months) and can talk for hours about the characters and storylines. I have no idea whether it's just a sign of her maturity or perhaps it was as simple as finding the right type of book for her. What a blessing!
