One of our favorite things about January the past 2 years has been the NFL postseason. Now that the Texans are managing to make the playoffs, we always have high hopes for our team to make it further each year. Even though that didn't happen, we still had a GREAT time at the home playoff game this month. The Texans hosted Cincinnati for the 2nd year in a row, so Jeff's best friend Bob flew down again to join us for the game. It was another great playoff game, so fun!

We've had a warmer-than-usual January here in Houston. The other night we were eating dinner and I noticed the gorgeous sunset off our back patio. I took this picture with my phone and still can't believe how amazing the sky looked that night. Stunning!
Earlier this month, Kevin participated in his Senior Recognition swim meet and we all got to join in to see him walk with his Dad and Mom. It's still so hard to believe that he's a senior and will graduate in a few short months.
Kevin began dating a girl named Helen recently and they attended the Senior Winter Formal at Helen's high school this month. I don't have a picture of them together, but I loved these pics of Kevin in his tuxedo. So handsome!

ReplyDeleteI cannot believe Kevin is a senior. I really did not realize that! Wow time flies. Glad you guys got to enjoy another Texans game before the season was over. And I loved that view from your house that evening. Beautiful! I really need to come for a visit!!!
